The Women’s cell of the College plays a pivotal role in empowering the women students in all respects. The responsibility of the cell has grown greater with the exponential increase in the number of women students enrolled for each program year by year. Besides playing the role of an advisory council to the anti sexual harassment cell, the women cell organizes a slew of programs to promote gender equity and for the academic, social , economic and political empowerment of women students. The Cell is also responsible for dealing with all the sensitive issues concerning women students of the campus and organises programs to make women students aware of their legitimate rights in the society.
